Building Theatre for Community-Building

“ Inspiring People” is a program of workshops and performances conducted by the artists of Intuition Theatre in neighborhoods, schools, community centers, churches, businesses and theatres. In these workshops and performances, people work in small and large groups to put their own ideas into skits, stories, plays and songs to be performed. They research social and cultural issues and learn about group process, improvisation and interviewing. They learn a two step critiquing process and skills from related art forms: acting, mime, clowning, story telling, physical comedy, music, song writing, creative movement, etc.

The results are increased confidence, community building, increased communication skills, arts skills and a fantastic increase in self esteem!!
